14th LMPS Congress - Nancy 2011
14th Congress of Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science
Nancy (France) - July 19-26, 2011
During the 13th Congress of Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science held in Beijing in August, 2007, the DLMPS General Assembly entrusted France with the task of organizing 14th Congress, which will consequently take place in Nancy (hosted by the Faculty of Law building) from Tuesday 19th to Tuesday 26th of July, 2011. The Congress will be locally organized by the Research Group in Philosophy and History of Science - Henri-Poincaré Archives (LHSP), UMR 7117 CNRS / Nancy-Université in partnership with the Institute for Social Sciences and Humanities (MSH Lorraine), USR 3261 CNRS / Nancy-Université / Université Paul Verlaine - Metz.
LMPS Congresses take place every four years since 1960, each time in prestigious locations, capitals and towns of great scientific renown: it was never organized in France until now. Among the leading events in the world for logic and philosophy of science, LMPS Congresses welcome the best specialists of those fields.
